Intruder Alarms

A professionally installed intruder alarm system is one of the best ways to protect your home and family. Burglars can strike at night, after all – a time when your loved ones are in the house and are at risk of disturbing the intruder, possibly encountering violence as a result. It’s the same scenario for your shop, office or warehouse too. At AIC, we supply both external and internal intruder alarms. These include PIR motion sensors, dual and sequential motion sensors and, for homes, pet tolerant detectors.

Domestic Intruder Alarms Cheshire

Whether you opt for a simple home alarm system which emits a noise when a sensor is triggered or a more sophisticated system linked to your local police station, the alarm will only be effective if it is installed properly in the first place. And, at AIC Security, that’s exactly where we come in.

It’s important to make sure your alarm is monitored on a regular basis – at least every six months – to allow the replacement of any broken or malfunctioning components. It should also be checked by yourself monthly to ensure the batteries are still working (these should usually be replaced every two to four years).

Commercial Intruder Alarms Runcorn

Many modern commercial intruder alarm systems include CCTV, which is connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), ensuring your business is remotely monitored around the clock. Some even have stand-by power options. Others come with internet-enabled phone app alerts. Visible business intruder alarms are both effective at alerting you to a burglar and deterring them in the first place. They are a means of ensuring that all the hard work you put into building your business in the early days isn’t ruined if your business is put on hold while you restock your premises.

Industrial Intruder Alarms Cheshire

Due to their size and layout, factory and warehouse industrial alarm systems can be more complicated to fit. There will be areas which shouldn’t be alarmed, for instance, while others require restricted access. Then there is the decision over where the main control panel is located and who can have access to it. It is also much easier for false alarm activation at a large site – too many false alarms and the police may take their time turning up.
